A family-owned and operated business, "Davis & Son" is well known throughout Lancaster County for their fine quality, clean, low mileage vehicles. We fully service, PA Safety and Emissions inspect all vehicles for safety, durability and performance.

Our automotive roots began in 1935 when "Grandpa" Harry E. Davis became sales manager for the Dodge/Plymouth dealership in Lewistown, PA. He purchased the Dodge/Plymouth/Dodge Truck agency in Mifflintown in 1944 and called it "Davis Motor Company", which he operated until 1952. His son, Robert, returned from Europe after World War II in 1946, and together they acquired the Massey Harris Farm Equipment Dealership and named it "Davis and Son".

In 1952, "Davis and Son" came to Lancaster, the "Garden Spot of the State" and opened for auto sales at 231 North Franklin Street in Lancaster. Twenty-five years later (1977) "Davis and Son" moved to its present location at 1960 Columbia Avenue, Lancaster. Third generation brothers, Bob Davis, Jr. and Glenn Davis are now partners in the business and always have a nice selection of sedans, wagons, minivans, sport utility vehicles and sporty two-doors.
